Make sure your submission follows these formatting guidelines:
- Everything double spaced (except query/cover letter in a proposal)
- Use Times New Roman 12-point font
- All margins 1 or 1.25 inch
- No blank spaces between paragraphs (Take out automatic spacing.)
- First lines of paragraphs indented 0.5 inch (Use tabs or automatic hanging indent; do not use multiple spaces to indent paragraphs)
- For scene breaks within a chapter, use a centered pound sign (#) or three asterisks (***) in an otherwise blank line (no space before or after)
- Do not include any photos, graphics, or images (with the exception of an author picture if you want to include one in your proposal)
- Save as a .doc or .docx file
- Submit as a single document
